NFA-National Fire Incident Reporting System: Program Management - NFA-National Fire Incident Reporting System: Program Management This 6-day course is offered to enhance the knowledge and skills of those individuals responsible for managing the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) and/or multiple fire/EMS databases in their organization, and/or for those responsible for the training of field-level data collection and reporting staffs. This course provides information about the system’s capabilities, data collection and analysis, and the available reporting features. Focus is on the higher level knowledge, skills and abilities required to collect, compile and analyze NFIRS data, to develop decision packages used as the basis for Standards of Cover and for comparative data based on local, state or national data and trends.

Traffic Incident Management - Traffic Incident Management The 4-hour National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Responder Training course teaches the responder how to safely and quickly clear traffic incidents. Traffic incident responders include emergency medical service (EMS), transportation and public works, fire and rescue, law enforcement, towing and recovery, and other professionals who support traffic incident management.
Efficient incident response requires seamless collaboration and coordination among responders to meet the needs of those injured, ensure the safety of responders and road users, quickly clear the incident, and prevent secondary crashes.
The National TIM Responder Training course covers notification and scene size-up, safe vehicle positioning, scene safety, command responsibilities, traffic management, special circumstances, and clearance and termination. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Use a common set of practices and advance standards across all responder disciplines.
Be equipped with a set of core competencies and strengthen TIM programs in the areas of responder safety; safe, quick clearance; and prompt, reliable, and interoperable communications.

Water Shuttle - Water Shutle In this course, we’ll explore the basics of the rural water shuttle and how it can benefit your community. This course will discuss drop tanks, nurse tender and rural hitch. We will outline the advantages and disadvantages of each. The course consists of two hours of lecture which will diagram the processes and six hours of firegrounds training using the proper apparatus and equipment along with standard safety requirements.
